Qualifications

Examination

Registration

One must get registered from the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association which is the governing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In order to gain registration one must be:

  • Over the age of 18
  • One must have completed their requirements including,
  • One must have at least a baccalaureate or higher qualification from a post secondary educational institute which is accredited from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or another such accrediting authority.
  • One must have a minimum of 450 hours practical experience.
  • One has to earn the required marks in the examination provided by the State Department of Health Services.
