Becoming anything in the field of holistic anything can be quite a difficult task. A holistic approach on anything is a more natural and body- beneficial way to be. This will give you the rights and approval to start working in your profession. The test will vary in style depending upon where you take the test, so proper research upon your location and its type of test is highly recommended for a higher passing percentage.

Other Necessary Skills

There are many skills necessary for this line of work. Some of these skills can include patience (to keep pursuing this career, despite the difficult periods), effective communication (to be able to defend and prove the history and reasoning behind many of your methods of work), an ongoing thirst for knowledge (because there is plenty to learn in the field of any type of holistic work), self-awareness (to practice often times what you preach), and the ability to work with others in intimate and close ways.


Your salary will all depend upon the location and the environment in which you work. According to Education-Portal, the average salary for a licensed holistic nutritionist is around $52,150 a year. This can rise when more experience is acquired, more networking has been done, and higher goals have been met.

Job Outlook

Although this job does require topmost degrees and an extensive training course, as previously stated in this article, employment is far from scarce in this profession. When getting your license in holistic nutrition, you will also have a general license for practicing almost any field of nutrition. Therefore, your range of potential places of hire is only increasing.
