You will have to pass an examination that is provided or supported by the panel. This will provide the proof of your eligibility by the CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration). Your degree provider has to directly communicate your transcript information to the panel administration.

You could gain licensure if you prove your registration with the CDR. You will have to provide the panel with a copy of the registration.

Licensure by Endorsement

If you already have a licensure in another state with equivalently stringent requirements as the state of South Carolina you can gain licensure in this state through endorsement. This requires a dietitian or nutritionist licensure from another state with a status which is current active and unrestricted.

The Clemson University offers a M.S. program in Food, Nutrition and Culinary Sciences. This program has the approval of the Institute of Food Technologists and the American Dietetic Association.
